About Me

I've been working with & on websites for over 10 years.  Archaic as they are, a couple of my first websites still exist, and continue to enjoy great search engine placement!

Technology in web design has come a long way. 
I now implement the latest in website technology for my sites (CSS, Java, Flash, Silverlight & more). 
To work more efficiently, and to keep costs down, I also use editing programs (currently Expression Web) to write code, and assist with design layout.

I really got involved with search engine optimization when Google started taking off. 
Before then, simply submitting your site to DMOZ.org was the most effective way to get your site indexed. 
Since then, it's a whole new ballgame. 
Change is constant with the big 3 (Google, Yahoo & MSN), and if you don't keep up with it, your rankings plunge down.
